We’re also highlighting the expertise of Chris Gaines, our Production Manager, who plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and success of every fiberglass project we undertake.

Employee Spotlight: Chris Gaines, Production Manager
Meet Chris: Our talented Production Manager with over 20 years of fabrication expertise. Since joining Entech, Chris Gaines has played an instrumental role in ensuring our projects are executed with precision and quality.
Chris’s career spans two decades in the manufacturing industry, where he honed his skills working with fiberglass and other materials. With specialized training in advanced techniques like infusion, RTM, VARTUM, and Cold Press molding, he has earned multiple composite certifications, along with ABYC and CBBC credentials. Additionally, Chris holds a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, reflecting his commitment to efficiency and excellence.
Chris' Role At Entech: Chris oversees day-to-day production operations, ensuring each project is built to specification while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. His role encompasses everything from creating schedules and meeting budgets to ensuring that quality policies are followed and that his team has the support they need to succeed. "What I love most about my role is the dynamic nature of the projects and seeing the incredible products we produce," Chris shares.
Working with fiberglass presents its own set of challenges, particularly ensuring the precise chemical mixes needed for proper curing. "When this is done right, the results are incredibly strong, durable, and often stunningly beautiful," Chris explains. It’s this blend of technical expertise and creative satisfaction that fuels his passion for the work.
When asked about memorable projects, Chris reflects on the countless unique opportunities he’s had at Entech. "There have been so many projects that I’ve absolutely loved. Honestly, this is the happiest I’ve ever been in my career. Each project presents unique challenges, from design concepts to installation, which keeps the work exciting and fulfilling."
Chris’s philosophy for production excellence centers around teamwork and mutual respect. "I believe in treating everyone as equals. No one person is more important than another, and we all work together as a team committed to completing the job. I strive to support my team and help them succeed, believing in their abilities and fostering a culture of collaboration."
Inspiration: Outside of work, Chris finds inspiration from his family - his wife, Consuelo, and their two children, Anthony and Allicia. "They are the reason I get up every morning. Without them, everything I do would feel meaningless."
A passionate football fan, Chris never misses an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers. "Go Niners!" he says with enthusiasm.
